kristensk: reading (fma bookworm)

Not dead just yet. I am, however, moving into stressing over my FMA Big Bang submission. I know where I'm going; the words just keep fighting me. And, much as I need them, deadlines tend to unnerve me... and my brilliant response is to procrastinate. Blegh. Still, [livejournal.com profile] mintysage has orders to beat scenes out of me with a big, ugly stick, and the words are coming, slowly but surely.

In happier news, it looks like Arakawa will be starting her next manga in April. Though I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high. I loved Fullmetal Alchemist and her comic series Demons of Shanghai, but that's no guarantee that I'll love absolutely anything she does. I was monstrously disappointed with Takahashi's follow-up to Inuyasha, after all. But, we'll see. And, hey, the new FMA movie comes out in July ;)

And I'm fighting my "freeze up like a deer in the headlights at climactic scenes" syndrome. Blargh. I know every detail of what needs to happen, but I flail come time to put it in text.

Any word yet on a U.S. release for the movie?

Urgh. Well, I hope the words will behave for you. I'm still enjoying everything thus far ;)

No news yet. But, that usually comes along some time during or after the Japanese theater run.

I finally had another halfway good writing day... but we'll see how well you enjoy what just happened. :o

By the way, do you have the "Abducted Alchemist" light novel?

I do. I actually have all of them now but haven't had a chance to read "The Ties That Bind" since I got it just recently.

Oh, good! :)

(No reason to pick up the spare copy I was eyeing, then.)

Ah! Well, thank you very much for thinking of me all the same! ("The Abducted Alchemist" was actually the first one I got thanks to your review.)
