Otakon 2010 - Friday

Just a short post for now. Today was the first day of the convention and while seekersks and I didn't see a lot, we had fun. We enjoyed a couple of voice actor question and answer sessions. First was Patrick Seitz and then Todd Haberkorn, who I had specifically wanted to see since I've actually heard and liked him as Ling on FMA:B (FMA:B being the first anime I've watched the dub of in years). Both were good, but Todd's was hilarious. He even managed to spice up the repeated requests for him to sing "Happy Birthday" to friends and family not present.

Then, in the afternoon, we caught the tail end of Vic Mignogna's mini-concert. Our timing was pretty good as we got there for the apparent Fullmetal Alchemist portion, including a showing of Vic's no-longer-banned fan video "Fullmetal Fantasy". (Which is goofy, but fun.)

Oh, aaaand... ::waggles her convention guidebook:: It took some waiting, but I have a little something for jordannamorgan.

You're welcome! I think I owe my brother dinner again since he not only stood in line with me but let me have the autograph he got too. He's awesome like that.

And, just let me know if you want the entire con book the autograph is in or if I should just remove the page (it's only a page away from the staple point). I have no preference. I'd be perfectly happy with just the page. I probably wouldn't know a thing about anyone or anything else in the book. *g*
