kristensk: Inuyasha lounging in a tree (Inuyasha - Lazy Days)

Late Thanksgiving, but I just wanted to post this. Look what was in our yard Friday! No, this is not a normal occurrence. Personally, I think they were on the run. We saw them again over the weekend and several times this week. Not surprisingly, they were nowhere to be seen today. And, check out the gray blob over on the right. You can see the blob better in this shot. Still on the right. (Sorry for the odd stuff in that one - I took it through a window and got reflections.) Flash thought she was going to catch an early Thanksgiving dinner. Flash is crazy.

The one in the second picture is clearly a dinosaur. Look at its little dinosaur forearms - you can't fool us, little dino!

Ah! It did fool me! Curses! If I'd known it was a dinosaur, I would have definitely tried to capture it for the sake of extra Christmas mo-- ... I mean science.

Cool, real turkeys.....what a neat thing to spot.....

Your cat is beautiful but shouldn't be outside for her safety unless of course you were keeping an eye on her and let her back in.

Have ten cats of my own and none are outdoor cats. I love them too much to do that to them. I live on a busy street and would love a wooded area like that to live in. You have a gorgeous view.

It was really awesome to see them. And, I called Flash back after I realized she wasn't huddled down waiting for them to leave like I thought, but actually hunting them. Fortunately for her, the turkeys were pretty skittish.
