kristenskHere's yet another last minute October 3rd drabble. Probably mangaverse unless you subscribe to Ed and Al finding their way home post-CoS.
Anew
The leaves were changing, the apples were ready for picking, and Ed and Al were waiting at the door.
Briefly, Winry remembered smoke and fire and a very different October parting. Then, she snorted.
“You make everything so dramatic,” she accused Ed.
He’d chosen the date for revisiting towns the brothers helped in their travels, after all.
“What? Lots of the invites said to visit for the fall festiv—”
Grabbing his arm, she interrupted. “Let’s go then.”
Al laughed, and they were off.
It was like yet nothing at all like that first October 3rd all those years ago.
