2016 Genex Author Letter

genex 2016. This is my first time making one of these, so I hope nothing is confusing! Thank you!
General Likes:
I love reading about family bonds/interactions, especially between siblings. And, yes, "family" for me absolutely includes families who aren't related by blood be they formally adopted, friends who are like siblings, or other variations of found family. I'm also a big fan of friendship stories, filling in gaps in canon, adventure, mystery, and fantasy or science fiction alternate universes. Even if I don't have a specific prompt for it, I'd love to see any gap-fillers or my favorite series translated into a science fiction universe.
Do Not Wants:
Heavy angst, Character death, Character bashing, Mundane alternate universes
Ao no Exorcist/Blue Exorcist:
Favorite Characters: Rin, Yukio, Shiro, Shiemi, Shura, the Exwires as a group
This is my current favorite/focus series. My favorite elements are the (however strained, frayed, and snappish) brotherly relationship between Rin and Yukio, Yukio's developing demon powers, anything involving the twins growing up with Shiro, and any friendship/adventure fic involving Rin with the other Exwires and teacher!Yukio.
Prompts: Rin learning that Yukio is developing demon powers (manga or anime). Follow-ups to the anime ending where Yukio has to adjust to his new demon form and powers with Rin's help. Any cute family moments between Shiro and the twins. The Exwire class having exorcism adventures.
Fullmetal Alchemist (Manga/Brotherhood):
Favorite Characters: Ed, Al, Mustang, Ling, Hughes, Mustang's crew
I love the brotherly relationship between Ed and Al, the friendship between Mustang and Hughes, and enjoy the bickering friendships Ed shares with Mustang and Ling. And, any snippet of adventure with these characters would always be welcomed.
Prompts: Pre-series, Ed and Al travelling the country and uncovering trouble, mysteries, and weird alchemy. Mustang and Hughes get caught up in trouble together. Ed is Ling's favorite fall guy.
Fullmetal Alchemist (2003 Anime):
Favorite Characters: Ed, Al, Mustang, Hughes, Mustang's crew
Again, I love Ed and Al's brotherly relationship and Mustang and Hughes being best buddies. More specific to this FMA universe, I'm really intrigued by the Gate as a conduit to a parallel universe and would love to see the counterparts to characters like Mustang, Winry, and Riza in the parallel universe.
Prompts: As above, any pre-series escapades with Ed and Al travelling the country and running into weirdness. Mustang and Hughes getting caught up in trouble together. Post-movie, Ed and Al encounter more familiar faces in the alternate world.
Inuyasha:
Favorite Characters: Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku, Sango, Sesshoumaru-when-interacting-with-Rin
My main interest in this series is the Inuyasha crew - particularly Inuyasha and Kagome - and the mythology angle. Let's hear it for the gang wandering into yet another village with a dark secret or taking refuge in a not-so-abandoned building. Anything involving Sesshoumaru being a grudging guardian figure to Rin is good too.
Prompts: The gang encounters supernatural weirdness out on the road. Rin needs food and clothes and, for once, Jaken is out on another errand.
