The Joke That Just Keeps Going

So, first, I drew a sketch of a cat chimera Ed, who is having a "little problem".

randomcheeses speculated that Ed looked like he was talking to Colonel Mustang. All kinds of fun ensued as we started trading back and forth snippets of dialogue.
This led to the awesomeness that israndomcheeses writing a fanfic based on our little back and forth, which is brilliant and hilarious and you should go read it now. I can only take credit for some of the dialogue (and not all of that); the rest is all her.
And then, that led to fanfic author SakuraLetters being inspired to write her Fullmetal Alchemist/Harry Potter crossover fanfic Of Astronomy Towers and Chimeras, which is completely random but just as completely genuinely funny.
