Otakon 2008 - Thursday
Aug. 7th, 2008 07:29 pmWell, nothing today went quite as planned, but things worked out all the same. And, no one got hit by a car this year. Always an improvement ;) Anyways, after a couple of odd detours and another irritatingly slow trip around Washington, we finally made it to Baltimore. Unfortunately, collecting our badges wasn't nearly as nice and easy as last year. The line was long even at 7:00pm (at least as compared to last year), and there was a thunderstorm. ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
seekersks and I managed to get only mildly soaked. (Okay, so after a brief drenching, we abandoned the line to huddle under shelter until the worst had passed.) And, while waiting inside the convention center, Seek found that he could post photos to my LJ with his cellphone (he had to use mine as his isn't a paid account). So, this and all of the following photos of the Inner Harbor area are courtesy Seek:
