Fangirling and Fic-ing and Such

The Boring News: Did more toying with my journal. I think I finally like the layout. Maybe.
Random Personal Chatter: I think I may have a new food obsession. Just last night my family visited a Cold Stone Creamery. The Oreo Overload is incredible. Granted, I nearly ate myself into a chocolate-induced coma with it, but still... *drool*
Random Recommendation: At my brother's insistance, we finally finished watching the entire "Gundam SEED" series this past Friday night. He kept me up until four in the morning, but it was worth it. I had balked at watching it at first because the Gundam series have never really piqued my interest, but I have to admit, "SEED" is good. Actually, it was one of the best sci-fi/space battle/etcetc sort of things I've encountered in a long time (and I did so need a good dose of that). There are a couple of character deaths that left me wanting to throttle the writers (and a couple of excessively disgusting shots of extra characters' deaths that I just know are going to crop up in a nightmare three months from now), but ah well... at least one of my favorites came back from the dead!
Project Updates: Still fighting a minor writer's block on the end of Chapter 5 of "Miscomm"... but I thought I'd post a teaser here. Mind you, it is just a teaser and it's meant to do just that - tease. So, if you like, click here! [Edit 2/10/05: Chapter 5 of "Miscomm" is officially finished. Link now connects to the completed copy.]
