Otakon!

seekersks and I finally made it to Otakon. We got a little lost on the way to Baltimore and somehow missed the beltway around Washington. Which resulted in:

[Kris] Hey... Is that? ::pointing out window::
[Seek] ::staring, then scowls:: No! That is NOT the Washington Monument!
[Kris] But, it looks just like it...
[Seek] It's your imagination.

Yes, well, I apparently imagined the Smithsonian too. And, the Capitol Building.

So, after our abrupt super-fast tour of Washington, D.C. we finally pulled out Seeker's GPS and managed to find Baltimore.

Thus far, the convention's been great. The wait to get in was a little daunting but not too bad. Granted, we actually cut in line by accident because the line had somehow separated (or was separated by staff) and we lined up at what looked to be the end. Turns out it was maybe halfway. (Noonehurtme;Ididn'tknow!)

Anyways, my quest for Inuyasha merchandise got off to a good start with a couple of prints and a Kagome action figure as well as a Human Inuyasha figure. So, hooray!

Nice!! I went to Katsucon twice ...each time I GO into DC and get lost! The first time I went I saw all the monuments in 10 minutes!! Aww I wish u could have visit Kris!

Well, you never know. I saw a castle in Lexington, Kentucky - stone, turrets, flags flying on top, the works.

And, it has been loads of fun!

Actually, it *was* the Washington Monument. We completely missed the beltway and went straight through D.C. Managed not to make the same mistake on the way back.
