Drabble Post - Weakness (FMA)
I've finally gotten some writing done again, starting with this silliness inspired by Hughes' awesomely hilarious first anime pajamas.

It was a well-known fact that Maes Hughes' soft spot was his daughter. He himself proclaimed it to all and sundry. He could deny his precious Elicia nothing. The fact that they lived in the city - and Gracia's quiet good sense - was the only thing that had saved him from buying a pony.
But, even his enthusiasm flagged when he saw the pajamas. The very pink, baby chick printed pajamas.
“I picked them out just for you, Daddy!”
Maes felt himself melting in the face of Elicia’s bright smile. Well, on second glance, they weren’t so bad.
“You did? Well, guess what? Daddy loves them!”
He swooped her up into a hug, and Elicia squealed with delight.
“Uncle Roy said you’d like them!”

And, the rest of his crew is wondering why he's so darn cheerful. And, if it involves Ed. And, if they should run for cover.

Well, the rest of the crew is probably safe from Hughes' wrath, but "Uncle Roy" should watch himself ;)

Well, okay. "Uncle Roy"'ll forget the coffee and go straight for the rum.

Except Hughes will have involved Ed, who was all too happy to help a great guy like Hughes (and who will join in... pretty much anyone's vengeance against Roy). Thus, Roy will find that his rum has been transmuted into... Well, no one's sure what it is, but it probably tastes bad. Prompting Roy to exclaim, "But, why is the rum gone?!"

After which Roy will send Ed to Briggs to "recover something very important"... and call it "training". For a month.
Because no one messes with Roy's rum.
