Drabble Post - Promotion (SK)
This is entirely Sage's fault. Also, co-authored by her as we were tossing this dialogue back and forth in texts. Still working on a better title.
Promotion
“I think it’ll bring in customers,” Chance said.
Jake arched a brow. “What kind?”
“The kind with a sense of humor.”
Jake looked again at the junked hearse Chance had parked near the salvage yard’s entrance. Spray painted across its side were the words, “We Sell Used Body Parts”.
“Yeah, okay. But, you’re dealing with them if some wannabe Frankenstein comes in here looking for a used brain and spleen.”
“I’ll just offer your mad genius brain. Dunno how healthy your spleen is.”
“Healthier than yours is about to be.” Jake grinned. “We have a sparring session to get to.”
