In Florida, one might be able to substitute alligator legs. *shudder* I find the idea highly unsavory, but gator meat is actually... not unpopular here. (You know those roadside stands that usually sell fresh produce or boiled peanuts? Well, on the highway heading down toward Melbourne, there's one that offers alligator jerky.)
